FAMILY: He's close with his parents, Agatha and Jason Diggory, in particular his father, who is a sports nut like him. They frequently bond over Quidditch.

BIOGRAPHY: Growing up, Amos lived a pretty average life of a Pureblood. As an only child, he's the apple of his parents' eye and gets packages every week at school full of home baked treats and letters from his mum. He was raised in an upper middle class household, with all the privileges he could want.

He does average in school and loves animals of any kind, spending his free time either assisting the Care of Magical Creatures classes, or playing Quidditch. He spends more time on the Quidditch pitch than he does anywhere else in Hogwarts. When he found his one true calling as a Chaser, he immediately became obsessed with winning. He became Quidditch Captain in seventh year and his dream would be to become an international Quidditch star, but knows realistically that won't happen, and would rather do something more grown up. Perhaps a job in the Ministry, like his father.

As silly as it sounds, Amos can't wait to start a family. He constantly thinks about what it will be like when he has a son of his own to teach life and Quidditch and girls and living life to the fullest. Perhaps it goes along with how much Amos wishes to keep his name alive, which is certainly a typical bloke thing.

PERSONALITY: Amos Diggory embodies all the best and worst traits of a Hufflepuff. Friendly and outgoing, Amos makes friends easily in school. He's not a very complex bloke at all. But he is quick to smile and quick to laugh and joke (sometimes his jokes are at other people’s expenses, but he doesn’t deliberately set out to hurt anyone’s feelings). He wears his heart on his sleeve. He's loyal to a fault, sometimes without any reason to be, and more often than not, he's blindly loyal, because he simply cannot believe the worst in any of those he deems worthy. Unless you've done something unforgivable - like kill an animal deliberately (and not for food) or hurt one of his friends or loved ones - to him, most people are subjected to his brand of unwavering loyalty. He can be a bit intimidating in his boisterousness, but he finds most people warm up to him quickly.

He is a deadly proud person and will do almost anything in his power to uphold his pride and honour. A lot of his friends have told him not to "be so bloody proud!". His greatest weakness is his need to boast. He doesn't boast twenty-four hours a day, but when he does, it's very elaborate and long-winded. The way he speaks about himself sometimes is in such a casual way that it's like he thinks everyone actually wants to hear about his accomplishments. Amos doesn't just boast about himself. Oh no, he'll boast about anything and everything. If one of his friends got an O on a hard test, he would then proceed to tell everyone, as though his friend didn't have the ability to speak freely.

Besides that, he's very into creatures – particularly magical beasts (though bestiality is a no-go area) – and will do almost anything to protect them. He is a total daddy's boy, and he's perfectly fine with it.

APPEARANCE: Tall is the first thing that comes to mind when Amos is mentioned. A master of puppy eyes, he has a bright smile and an infectious laugh. His fitness is important to him, and it shows. He's always found around Hogwarts with dirt, animal goo, or food on his clothing. However, he takes about 3 showers a day because of this.
